What’s Footing Framing

Foundation footing is one of the most important aspects of your home’s structural integrity. It has to be built right the first time to effectively guard against moisture and soil shifts that can cause long-term damage.

For example, if the soil surrounding your home retains too much water and begins to expand, it can create undue pressure on your foundation walls. Over time, water can seep in, causing the foundation walls to expand and contract with the changing seasons.
